Leslie: I am Christian, married to Ken for almost 19 years. I have not always been overweight, but thanks to a few different illnesses, I have gotten that way. I have been struggling for a few years now, and then I started treating my ADD in 3/07, which actually treated my narcolepsy. It is amazing how many things you can do when you are awake. I started Karate lessons in August, and even though I didn't think with my back and the Fibromyalgia, that I would be able to do it, I not only have been able to do it, I also tested for my Purple belt successfully and have lost over 14 inches. I was so excited the day I put on a pair of jeans that I had not worn in over 5 years. (I had not worn ANY jeans at all in over 5 years).
Ken: Ken lost 45 lbs in the summer of 2006, but then in the summer of 2007, he tore his achilles tendon and gained it all back plus some. He is wanting to lose the weight to not only keep his blood sugar under control, but he needs this for his depression. He just lost his father 11/07
